Many athletes (and budding athletes) are asking themselves one question – does the Jump Manual work or is it all hype? All basketball and volleyball players would like to increase their vertical jump. In no other sport is it as important to be able to jump high consistently, and safely (without causing injury), as in these two. The higher you can jump, the greater your advantage over your opponent. Various programs claiming to be able to help you increase your vertical jumps by as much as 10 inches or more have been on the market for some time. The one that seems to come up more often than others is “The Jump Manual”.
Vertical Jump Training
If you want to jump higher, then you’ll need to follow a jump training program. These days it’s actually become quite a precise science in that you will achieve the best results via a series of different exercises. Done in combination, different muscle groups are worked to get noticeable results within a few days. Although there is no magic button that you can press, a combination of hard work and determination will see you through. Much the same as any other exercise or fitness regime.
So Does This Really Work?
Well, one way of finding out is to see what an existing user thinks. This is Matthew, a 17 year old “sick dunker” from North Carolina:
The methods contained in this course would seem to work well for all ages. Matthew (from the above video) is 17. Brian is at the other end of the age range:
“Followed the program and the gains are insane. The weight lifting portion is amazing. I always over trained until your program. Now its quality over quantity. I just turned 40 and the dunks keep coming. This was the best purchase I have made on jump training, maybe I can get some money for my used jumpsole… I love how you have incorporated weight lifting into it as well as the plyometric stuff. Thanks again Jacob, your video blogs have the truth written all over them; that’s what attracted me in the first place. Honesty without a car salesman pitch.”

Toni is a volleyball player. He gained increased his vertical jump by 3 inches in the first 2 weeks alone:
“Hi Jacob, I showed your workout to my coach (former coach of the Czechoslovakian National team volleyball) and he told me it looks good, but if I don’t get any results in the first month, then i have to stop. Ive done your workout for two weeks now and Ive already gained 3 inches!! If I continue doing progress like that, I can move from libero to an outside hitter. Thanks man.”

After first trying out several other methods to increase his vertical jump, Wayne completed the 3 month program and he’s gone above the 10 inches claimed on the official site:
“I tried everything man! Air Alert, Strength shoes, plyos you name it I tried it. Your program made sense and I gave it a shot. I gained 13 inches in in 12 weeks and now I can 360 dunk with 2 hands. Every time I play people always notice. I recommended to our coach that the whole team does the work-out cause i’m also a whole lot quicker. Seriously… Thanks!”
